YouVersion is self-described as a revolutionary online Bible reader. It displays the text of scripture as well as notes from the other users of the site alongside, which enables you to share and comment on the passage as you read. I haven’t played around with it much, but it seems quite Web 2.0ey and potentially useful.
If you haven’t yet, check out the new Remedy Club tour DVD/CD when you get the chance. Crowder*Band are at the top of their game right now. Here’s a recent interview with Dave from igniteyourfaith.com teen magazine:

This past week has seen the launch of an innovative new channel for catching up on your reading anywhere and any time, using a very familiar technology: your cellphone.
Only a couple of years ago, the thought of reading a book on a tiny cellphone screen might have seemed ridiculous. But these days, with the advent of mobile applications such as Gmail, Opera Mini and Mxit, the concept seems quite unsurprising. Struik Christian Books are playing their part in the mobile revolution, by offering electronic book downloads at affordable prices, with most titles in the R30-R40 range.
Click on through to www.inspiredmobile.co.za and www.struikchristianbooks.co.za to find out more.
P.S. For those interested, we’ve covered downloading the Bible onto your cellphone in a previous post.
