For all youth groups and churches in and near Mondeor Johannesburg, there will be a Youth Day talent showcase entitled “Hopeful Destiny”. The show will be a fundraiser for a worship event co-ordinated by F.U.S.I.O.N, and tickets will be sold for R25 at the door (R20 pre-sale). Whatever your talent is, you can use it to bring glory to the God who created it!

Little Sheldean Human (7) went missing in Pretoria just over a week ago, wearing a pink shirt and denim jeans. Sadly, I learned on the 7 o’clock SABC news tonight that she still hasn’t been found. Please continue to keep eyes and ears open; if you come across any information which might help to locate her, please contact Anne (082-560-4479) or Vivian (082-365-7256).

Lord, please comfort Sheldean wherever she may be, and provide strength for her family.

Update: Sheldean’s body was found last night. May she rest in peace.

If you’re one of the hordes buying into the MySpace phenomenon, you’ll have some idea of how big this new social networking site could be for online Christian community-building - the very concept at the heart of the iChurch vision.

The wonderful news is that the MyChurch team have just opened up registration to churches and members outside of the States. The site is still in beta (a work in progress), and the international features especially might need some bugs smoothed out. That said, MyChurch is definitely both usable and useful in its current form…

In the short time that I’ve spent with it, I’ve grown to love MyChurch even more than I hate MySpace.. and that’s saying a lot! It’s intuitive, ad-free (!) and looks great too… ahhh, can you smell the fresh air?
